As title says, I moved to CA in 2022 and thus did a partial return last year for NJ and CA, so the IRS should know I live here. But apparently the field to update my address in Fidelity wasn't the one that the tax forms use so this year it still shows my old NJ address. Do I have to fill out another partial state return for NJ because of that or do I not since the IRS has my info as being in CA and I've been a full time resident of CA this past year? I read that you really just need to make sure the SSN is correct in the forms and that the address isn't necessarily the most important thing. I already asked Fidelity if they could issue a new form but they won't.
Thank you, let me know if I missed any important information.
