You can enter the foreign pension income on Form 1040, schedule 1 line 8z "foreign pension". the IRS has nothing to match it to like it does for US pensions for which you get a 1099-R. unless the pension receives special tax treatment, it is perfectly OK to report it as Miscellaneous Income.

I have made a note for next year.
The amount is so small that it does not impact tax due anyway
Income from a Defined Benefit plan is not taxed in Alabama. If I enter it as Miscellaneous income, or as income from Schedule 1 8z, it is not identified as retirement income when it transfers to my state taxes, so there's no way to mark it as not-taxed. If the 'foreign address' box is checked on the substitute 1099-R, turbotax should be smart enough to not croak on a blank EIN.
