If a child is born or died in the year 2020, you will not be penalized for the number of days the child was not alive, regardless of when the child was born. If she was born in 2019 and died in 2020, then put 366 days.

Our daughter Grace has autism and parents' health required that we place her in a group home. We pay her room and board. Where do we indicate this in tax return?
