I may be that you have a penalty or interest due for late payment of tax that is being added to your tax due. You would see that on line 27 or 28 of your form CT-1040.

No, there is $0 on line 27 and 28.

The figure on line 10 of the "Tax Calculation Schedule" is lower than the figure on line 6 of CT-1040
