Question

First time filing married-jointly.

Hello,

I filed taxes for the first time as married-jointly and all my spouses information was entered into my tax return.  Is there any need to log into her TurboTax account and file, or are there any boxes or forms that need to be checked in her TurboTax account?

Thanks in advance.

No, when you file a joint tax return all of your combined information and all of your income goes on ONE Form 1040.  There is no reason or need for your spouse to do anything with her old TT account except keep a record of how to access it in case there is information needed from a past return someday.

    Best Wishes!

All of the information for filing jointly can be included on your TurboTax account; there is no need top access your wife's separate account.
