Filing Status Change

When changing filing status from Married Filing Separately (in 2019) to Married Filing Jointly (in 2020), is there a simple way to import TurboTax data from 2019 for both individuals into 2020?

No.  Since you are changing filing status, it would actually be better to start a new return with a new user name.  This would keep your Married Joint return segregated from the Married Separate return. There is more behind the scenes happenings in TurboTax than just checking a different filing status so to keep it clean, I would recommend a fresh return under a new user name.
