Filing only SSA-1099 but Can't E-File

I E-File my taxes every year with TurboTax with only a SSA-1099 and standard deduction.
While filing my 2022 taxes today, I was thrown the error on review that I must print and mail in my returns, and will not be able to e-file.

Has something changed?

Is the SS your only income?  If SS was your only income you do not have to file.  But if the Social Security was your only income and you just really want to file anyway, add $1 of interest as income.  That is an allowable trick that will let you e-file.

Yes, SS is my only income, and I know that I don't have to file, but it has just always felt wrong not filing, so I do it for my own piece of mind.

Your advice, on adding interest as an income worked after find my bank's EIN, which was just a quick Google Search.

Thank you.
