Filing married and jointly

My husband and I are filing jointly for the first time. It is not asking for his full W2 information though, just mine. Why is that?

You need to look more carefully at the income screens.  The income pages should have spots with each of your names by them so that you can enter both spouse's incomes.

When you say 'not asking for full w2 info.' what does that mean?

when you are done entering yours, open another 'W2 Wage Entering Worksheet' and select 'Spouse's W2' box on the top left corner. Once done, his name will populate at the bottom section e), make sure 'Transfer Employee information from Federal Information Worksheet' option is also selected. Once done, you simply enter all his W2 details including with-holdings. If still face issues, contact customer support.
