Hello,

I usually file federal taxes as my state (TN) doesn’t require state filing. The past year I worked a freelance job in Missouri, how would I file my taxes online? I filled out Federal, and I also filed with unemployment as well so what other forms for the state would I need to complete? And which package would that be for TurboTax?

When TurboTax asks if you made any money in a state outside of Tennessee then you will answer "Yes."  You will file a tax return for Missouri as a non-resident.  Missouri will tax any income earned in Missouri.  TurboTax will add the Missouri return to your tax return and walk you through how to fill it out and file it just as it does with the federal return.
