filing extension

is the e filing an extension included in the fee we paid for the software?

    Yes, e-filing is included in the fee for the software.

    There is no fee to request an extension.  Beware that an extension does not give you extra time to pay your tax due--it only gives you more time to get your documents and tax return ready.  Estimated 2019 tax due must be paid by April 15, 2020.
