Filing by mail

What happens if I file my return by mail on the website before 4/15 but dont send out my return until 4/13… will this be considered late?

If you are choosing to file by mail, it must be postmarked by April 15, 2024 to be "timely." If you are getting a refund or do not owe, there is no penalty for missing the deadline.
