Filing an extension. Where you put 2017 AGI, I have a negative number. Get a message it must be greater than or equal to 0. If I change this to 0 will IRS accept?

Yes - If your previous year AGI is negative, enter zero.  This is acceptable to the IRS.

Yes - If your previous year AGI is negative, enter zero.  This is acceptable to the IRS.

IRS will reject your tax returns if you enter 0 on your AGI if you had a negative AGI in past tax returns. I tried twice and they rejected them.
