In completing each return, Turbo Tax combines the Federal Return and the State Return when all I need to do is make changes to the State Return. When I finish, it shows the 1040X Federal Return with no changes. It also adds at the end of my State Tax Return a copy of the 1040X Federal Return with no changes to it. I should discard this Form 1040X when submitting the hardcopy Amended State Tax Return by mail, correct?
In addition, when I filed the original Massachusetts State Tax Returns, my permanent address was in the State of Massachusetts (the Returns show this Mass address), but in 2019, I moved to New Hampshire and filed a Part-Year Resident Tax Return in Massachusetts using my NH permanent address. The Turbo Tax Software used my Massachusetts address on the Amended Returns. Should I change the Mass address to the NH address on the Amended Returns, or just submit a statement to note the address change along with hardcopy Amended Returns?

Yes, you do not need to include the Form 1040X that was generated without changes. There is no reference in the instructions to the Federal return being attached. In reference to the Massachusetts original filing:
Your amended return must include all schedules filed with the original return even if there are no changes to the schedules. Mail your amended return to the same address used for original returns.

Yes, update the address on the amended return so that any correspondence will be delivered to the accurate address, even though you lived elsewhere at the time of the original filing.
How do I check the address on my return to make sure it's getting sent to the right address if it's already pending.
To check the address on your return you should download a copy of your return from TurboTax Online.
Sign in to your account. On the first page, you should see the 2019 data. Click on Download/Print return PDF.
If your return has been accepted, you will need to file Form 8822, Change of Address, with the IRS to change your address.
You will need to mail in Form 8822 to the address listed on the second page.
You can look to your state's Department of Revenue site for information on changing your address with the state.
You can find more information here.
