Can I amend my 2018 tax return in TurboTax?

If you used TurboTax Online, simply log in to your account and select “Amend a return that was filed and accepted.” If you used our CD/download product, sign back into your return and select “Amend a filed return.” You must file a separate Form 1040-X for each tax return you are amending.

You must mail in a 2018 amended return.

You can also manually file a 2018 amended return.

How do i amend a 2018 return

• Go to Tax Home.
• Then Reports and Documents at the bottom of the screen.
• Click on 2018.
• Click Amend and follow the directions to amend 2018.
