Filing 2022 No Income

My wife and I retired in June of 2020.

We have no working income or Social Security for year 2022.

We are living on Severance pay from company for this year.

1. Do we or should we still file Federal and State Taxes?

If you received no income of any kind in 2022 there is no need to file a federal or state tax return.
