The TurboTax online web-based editions can only be used to complete and file one tax return per account and User ID.

To start another tax return using the online editions you would need to create a new account with a new User ID.

When you use online software you get ONE return per fee.  If you use the same account and same user ID for a second return, the second one will overwrite the the first one and it will be lost forever.   With online, you pay separately for every return you prepare.   Each return needs its own account and user ID, and you pay the fee for each one.
