HI just a general comment on TT 2024 if TT folks are listening, there seems to be continued trend of redesigning the TT s/w which is making it much more difficult to input and manage a large number of 1099-INT/DIV/B's.
It started 1-2 years ago with the 1099-B entry redesign which keeps asking me 4 "tell us about your sales" questions with big buttons that don't fit on one screen so I have to click and scroll to complete that before getting to the gain/loss entry screen, and the messy summary table which sometimes can't even fit the numbers in the columns without scrolling.
Now for 2024 other 1099s have become needlessly more cumbersome. When I click "choose what I'll work on" then "Update" for 1099-INT I don't go to a 1099-INT summary, it goes to a summary of ALL income, with huge boxes in alphabetical order across everything, and now impossible to see what is making up my 1099-INT total. It used to go a detailed table of all my 1099-INT entries and make it easy to reconcile/update accordingly. I suppose I can get to a detailed view by going to Forms now, but this used to be easy in the main "EasyStep" UI. Same for DIVs.
It's just not a scalable workflow if you have many 1099s of different types, and trend of redesign with these huge graphical type buttons, generally resulting in too much clicking and scrolling to accomplish what worked fine before and loss of detailed tables for these income categories.
