FEEDBACK: The $39.99 fee for "Processor Refund Processing" is deceitful. TurboTax did not make it clear that a credit card could avoid it. How can this fee be recovered?

FEEDBACK: The $39.99 fee for "Processor Refund Processing" is misleading at best or downright deceitful. I discovered post-filing that had I elected to pay with a credit card at the time of filing, this fee would not be charged. This topic was recently covered in news reports. The disclosure of the details of this fee was not made clear by TurboTax at the time of filing. I trusted TurboTax prior to this - but will likely not use this service again because of this. This is the equivalent of fleecing. TurboTax should be ashamed and should consider refunding those who have been taken advantage of. TurboTax should have erred on the side of looking out for their valued customers. Instead they chose to use vague language in order to make $ for a 3rd party. Those who were effected by this misleading practice should be compensated and TurboTax should make a formal apology for this issue.

TurboTax gave you 2 choices to click, the one said clearly: "Charge to Credit Card". Both buttons were about the same size.  It was not misleading at all.  It was clearly stated with explanation.

A choice to "Charge to Credit Card" with no mention that by doing so it would avoid a $39.99 fee IS MISLEADING. There was no mention that the fee could be avoided. It should have been made more clear by stating so. Just google this issue and find out how many feel duped. It was also covered in local news reports.
