Last week I received a notice from the state of Pennsylvania regarding an issue they see with my filing of PA-40 for non-resident. Apparently I entered the amount of Estimated Tax Payments on the incorrect line. The amount was correct and the filings of these tax payments were made to the state. The state is telling me that I owe them $960, which they already have. I am submitting an Amended Return with all the necessary, I hope, supporting documents.
Same day I also received a notice form the IRS regarding my 2020 return. In the notice they cite my incorrectly entering the taxable amount for my IRA RMD. It should have been the same amount as I entered on the line above. I inadvertently left the first digit off of the second entry. TurboTax never asked me if I was sure about this entry. Secondly, the IRS indicates that the amount withheld and paid to IRS for my company dividends, which I entered on my return from my 1099-DIV, was not shown by "other" sources. They want me to pay this amount again. I purchased TaxAudit when I filed electronically with TurboTax, so I am engaging their services to sort this one out. I am becoming less and less comfortable with TurboTax. Been using it for years. Not sure what my other options are.

For the IRS, you need to file an amended return making your corrections. However, because you have received a notice, you need to respond to that notice with your amended return rather than just filing it online.
For PA, it's similar. Once you've received a notice, you respond to the notice with documentation.
Regarding continuing to use TT, you have a point. You have identified several times where you entered incorrect numbers. One way to avoid this is to have someone else enter the numbers. This means hiring a tax preparer locally or online. TT spent most of the tax season advertising their version of this service "TT Live." You can also go to a local CPA or other enrolled tax preparer of your choice.
