I completed the federal tax return for 2020 but in Turbotax does not has the 2019 data for comparison in the federal review.  How do I load the data from last year's return?

First, make sure you're signing in with the same user ID that you used last year.

Why didn't last year's tax return transfer over in TurboTax Online?

To transfer your data please check:

Thanks for the response.  I am not using the online version.  I am using the CD for Windows.

IF you already entered 2020 information it is too late to transfer from 2019.  Do you have the 2019 file on your computer?  It ends in .tax 2019 and should be in your Documents in a Turbo Tax folder.  Or search your computer for all files ending in .tax or .tax2019.  Did you transfer it when you first started?  If it didn't transfer and you want it you will have to start a new blank 2020 file to transfer into.  Go up to FILE-NEW.
