I’m using TT premier desktop. Have for many years, and each year I have had the forms 1116 and 1116 AMT. I have filed electronically every year.
This year I received a lengthy message about multiple 1116 forms and different types of income, all of which did not apply. However, the last sentence reads: If you have form 1116 AMT you cannot efile, you must print paper.
This sounds like a TT program error, not an IRS issue! Why does it suddenly apply? How to fix? already paid for CA state efile.
