I want to use Direct Debit to pay income tax due, but when I check "Yes" on the line "Do you want to elect direct debit of federal balance due (Electronic filing only)?", it says that's an error. I do intend to file electronically.
How can I correct this?

I am using the TurboTax software, not the TurboTax website.
I solved the problem by ignoring the error. When I clicked on electronically filing my taxes, I found that it then asked me to insert the routing number and account number for the account from which I wanted to pay our tax due. This was the very same information that I had already put into my TurboTax file and that caused the error. For whatever reason, entering the routing number and account number for my checking account during the electronic filing process was all that TurboTax wanted from me. It went through fine and thereafter, the Info sheet no longer showed an error.
