I see this additional question but I don't know if it will be rejected again if I answer it
What is the "Line 2B" some of you are speaking of? The only thing I've gotten is the 1095A while doing the online file.
YES!! It was accepted!
@Heres_the_Fix
What current entry needs to be deleted and re entered?
Hi everyone,
I had the same issue and when I reviewed the marketplace questions I realized I had one checked that shouldn't have been so I unchecked it and just refiled and the return was accepted. I think the key is that no matter what your marketplace questions are, NONE of them should be checked- if you do need to check one of the questions as a yes, then I am assuming you also need to take additional action, like file another form, etc.
Hope that helps.
did you say yes to the new self employed question and it was accepted?
@lilliew81 did you say yes to self employed question and then it was accepted?
IRS accepted my tax return!
i got acceptance email
I went through and when it came to the part with the check boxes I unchecked and rechecked the box about having self employment income (which we do have) and re-filled that section and refiled and was accepted within about 20 minutes of filing. Best of luck to everyone with this issue.
I am not self-employed or married, so I did not see those two question. Like I said I deleted the entire entry and reentered the data from my 1095-A form again and it was accepted within minutes.
I had that question and had it checked previously. When I unchecked it the return was accepted. The question is confusing - read the little information "i" and the examples they give and you will have a better idea if it applies to you. After I read through it I realized it did not in fact apply to me...
its the reason for the rejection. line 2b on form 8962 Is your dependents AGI. If you have no dependents or they dont have income, it should be 0 instead of blank.
You have to delete the entire entry (trash button) and re-enter the same data including all the amounts.
