Hello Great question,
Extensions can only be file before the April filing date. If an extension has not been filed, you will incur penalties and interest. If you file an extension and have a balance due, you will just incur interest on that balance due.
In the future, to file an extension in Turbo Tax Online, you would click on Tax Tools, Tools and then file extension.
