Expired ID

So my state ID in Texas was expired 2 years ago can I still file for e-file for my tax return . Or I have to update it

You are not required to enter a drivers license or state ID to e-file your tax return--it just adds some extra security. You can skip that part.

When I check the tracking at the IRS, it says that we sent you a check because we can't do direct deposit, but I haven't received anything yet and it's been 4 months.
