Exactly what forms are sent by E-file?

When I ask to preview what Turbotax sends to the IRS and State, the list includes "Filing instructions" and Form 1040 ES forms for the next year beside the regular !040, and schedules. Does TurboTax really send those extra sheets along with the 1040?

No TT does not send the IRS your filing instructions or the 1040ES vouchers. The 1040ES vouchers are for you and they are optional. If you do not expect to owe more than $1000 at tax time next year you do not have to use them. If you expect to owe, then it helps you avoid an underpayment penalty next year. Toss them out if you choose not to use them.
