Error thrown upon adding schedule K1 to return

Attempting to attach a K1 form to my return results in a loading screen, and then a "Something went wrong" screen with no explanations or options. This occurs after clearing cookies/cache (and relogging), and in both up to date firefox and chrome so it seems unlikely to be an issue on my side. Are there any options for working around this problem?

You will need to upgrade to the Premium online edition to enter a Schedule K-1

Thanks, this makes sense. I wish it would prompt for that instead of returning the generic error message.

 

I am still running into an issue since I don't actually see any way to upgrade my version. The online support articles indicate that there should be an upgrade button available while viewing my return, but that is not present. Trying to access the premium version from outside the return just brings me back into my return. Any idea there?

@zuluko You are right... Looks like TT changed the format in the online editions.  Nowhere to upgrade from your current edition.

Try this Clear your return and start over.  Once you start over go to this website for the Premium edition - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/premium/

 

 Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2023 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.
