Error Failed validation

I bought my software from Amazon - I am unable to efile despite several attempts and updating. The following error is the message I receive "Failed Validation, there is an update available for your version of turbo tax. Before you can file electronically, you'll need to get this update. To do this go to the online menu and select check for update."

When I follow those instructions there are no updates needed. This is very frustrating
