Error due to Form 3800

When I filed my Return (2024), it was rejected because of error due to 3800, page 9

Two doubts:

1. I did not have any business income in 2024.In earlier years, I used to get a K1 from an S corporation. The investments were sold in 2023 and duly accounted  (loss). Why does TurboTax (TT) create a Form 3800 this year

2. The error message (when I tried to file the Return this year), also said to wait till March 27. Any particular reason? Is the software being rectified?

3. If I merely delete the Form 3800, will it create any error.

Thanks in advance

This form issue has been identified and is expected to be resolved by Friday March 27, 2025. Since updates are released at midnight, we recommend waiting until the next day to open TurboTax, accept updates (if using TurboTax for Desktop), and try to e-file again.

It's possible you had a carryover business credit from the S-Corp. Does the information on Form 3800 Page 9 provide an explanation for the credit?

    Thanks for the response.

Will try on the 28th and see if the issue gets resolved. As of now, Page 6 (of Form 3800) does not give any explanation.

My TurboTax software (Desk top) did suggest I wait till the 27th and try again (or else print the Return and mail it to IRS).

Thank you. I hope the issue will be resolved.

    I have a similar problem.

I am ready to file my 2025 taxes, and I have 50 errors generated that I assume are all similar, but its hard to know as I can’t get past the first one.  I am getting a request to verify a Form 3800 General Business Credit Carryforward error.  I was finally able to look through the form and see what K1 it was associated with.

All my K1 says it is Box 15M - and the description on the K1 says it is a LINE 15 - CREDITS
    =================
M CREDIT FOR INCREASING RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

    No more description.

Turbotax is asking me for the following.  I assume it is for tax year 2025, but I have no clue how to answer any of the other Turbotax questions.   And If I guess, Turbotax seems to want to generate other more detailed form(s).  I don't know the credit type, and whether passive or non -passive ( I assume passive if it is a passthrough?)

I have a boat load of these to go through (50 errors) and it seems like a lot of useless work for such a small amount of money.

Should I just remove line 15 from the K1 fields and be done with it?  Is that misrepresenting infomraiton and subjecting me to audit?

    Looking for guidance.

Your kind responsesa are much appreciated.

oh..one more thing. My K1 does not provide the EIN for the passthrough entity.
