I can't get the SSA-1099 section to open,to enter my input.

Entering SSA-1099

Have you tried this:

To enter Form SSA-1099:

Open your return.
Click on Federal tab.
Click on Wages & Income.
Click on Edit/Add to the right of Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099).
