Enployer change

Hi, i had an employer change and it was in the end of november. Due to this , in state tax returns it shows due to be paid from my end. I had opted for standard deduction in federal returns. I dont see an option to declare my medical expenses in state tax returns (Arkansas) itemized.. please help.

You would enter your itemized deductions on your federal side and it should flow through to your Arkansas tax return.  If after choosing the standard deduction on the federal return, you notice it doesn't flow through to the Arkansas, choose taking itemized deductions (even if far less than standard) for the federal return and go to the state to make sure it flowed. Then go back to the federal and change it to the standard deduction.
