I've used 5 efiles on turbo tax. If i bought another turbo tax software, will I be able to efile 5 on the new one?

No, the IRS imposes the 5 free e-files limit.  They can check the number of e-files sent from your computer by the IP address.  

The TurboTax license is not for tax preparers, it is adjust the license agreement that their software cannot be used for clients.  It is only used to file your tax and family members as long as you don't charge them.
