efile rejection
I have entered my efile twice. Twice it has come back asking for my deceased wife's AGI. In 2018 we filed jointly. I put the amount from Line 7 of my 2018 return. It continues to be rejected. What should I do?

TurboTax merely prepares the return in the format requested by the IRS. Often, the IRS will not allow a return to be e-filed even when the correct AGI is entered based on instructions from the IRS.
I understand your frustration when you are not able to e-file your tax return, but TurboTax cannot resolve the issue when it is the fault of the IRS. We cannot compel the IRS to accept a return, we can only deliver it to them in the format that they prescribe.
