The return got rejected for incorrect pin. How do you change it?

If your return got rejected for an incorrect IP PIN you can fix this in TurboTax, by signing in and selecting "Fix my return".Go to the Federal tab, then Other Tax Situations, and select Start/Revisit next to Identity Protection PIN to update to the correct 6-digit number. Then you can re-file your tax return in the File section of your TurboTax program..

 "incorrect PIN" and "efile PIN" are not enough information.   Please post your rejection error code and message so we can be sure which PIN you are referring to.  If the error code/message says it's the 5-digit PIN (sometimes called the "signing PIN" or "Self-Select PIN"), then the error may actually be the 2024 AGI.   

It "could" be a 6-digit IP PIN (Identity Protection PIN), but you'll have to tell us for sure by providing the error code/message..
