eFile fails for 2nd year in a row

Software advised Jan 26th, everything ready to file taxes. However, after paying the $20 state efile, right after starting transmission, it advises efile cannot be performed yet. If it is not available yet, why does it not provide an error message advising when it will be available, instead of this generic unclear error message? Last year, the same happened after paying the $20 for NC efiling, after which I mailed it instead. Never found a way to have my $20 refunded for 2021. So, when can I efile???

Some forms in your return may not be ready for e-file. Please see this Help Article for information and access to the “tool” that shows the availability of forms.


If you would like to inquire about a refund, please feel free to contact Customer Support so they can assist you. You will want to use the keywords billing issues when you call so you get to the right person.

efile transferred sucessfully today. All Set. Looked for place to close discussion but could not find any options for this??
