My W-2 shows 2 wages/state income tax separately for each state. Does that mean I don't need to allocate to the other state?

In most cases yes- but you may still have to enter the amount from the W2 in TurboTax for the state return. Just make sure that the amounts add up to the total- in rare cases (New York for example) the State Wages in Box 15 and not necessarily the NY state wages.
So if I am understanding this correctly, I just need to file for each state return without allocation because they are already split. Thanks for confirming!
