On the import page (I'm using Turbotax 2023 Premier PC) of E*Trade, in the beginning it said "wait until Feb 17", and after that it changed to "will be available on Feb 26", and today when I tried again, the message changed to "E*trade from Morgan Stanley: 1099 forms not available to user"!
I called Turbotax, and a very nice and patient rep spent some time on this issue and ended up saying "let's wait for a couple of more days", which is totally fine to me. But I'm really worried a bit, cuz there's no set date here.
Has anyone of you guys run into the same issue?

you should be directing the question to E*Trade and Morgan Stanley since based on the message the issue is at their end not Turbotax.
Thanks Mike! I called E*Trade the next day and they gave me a stupid answer:
Since this account of mine was automatically moved to Morgan Stanley after the merger of E*Trade and Morgan Stanley, its status is "closed" in E*Trade, and for some stupid reason, E*Trade only provides PDF version of 1099 forms for a closed account, without ability to export it to Turbotax.
Again, it's stupid, but anyways, we found out why.
