E-Filing with Form 8621

I am required to file form 8621 with my tax return.  Since TurboTax does not include form 8621, I have manually completed it.  Is it possible for me to e-file my tax return without including form 8621 and then mail form 8621 in separately?  Or alternatively, could I e-file without form 8621 and then amend my return by including 8621.  Or is it best to print the entire tax return, add form 8621 to it and then mail it to the IRS?  Am I required to include form 8621 on my state returns?  If not, I plan to e-file those returns.

E-Filing with Form 8621

Since TurboTax does not support Form 8621, you are not able to e-file if you know you are required to submit the form.  You will need to print and mail your federal return with all the schedules and forms.  The federal form is not specifically reported to any state, but your state may have an equivalent need for the information.  If you have input all your appropriate information and TurboTax is stating you can still e-file your return, you are fine to do that.

E-Filing with Form 8621

Thank you Alicia.  TurboTax will let me E-file the federal form because it doesn't know that I am filing form 8621. I simply entered my QEF income as Other Income on schedule 1.  I don't think that makes it okay for me to E-file.  Looks like I will have to print and mail.
