E Filing : Multiple Forms 2555

I have 2 foreign earned incomes from 2 different foreign employers, Employer A and Employer B. As of now, the return can't be e-filed because of multiple Forms 2555. Can I just file one Form 2555 for Employer A with Line 19 as the total wages of both Employers A & B? And also make an attachment to Form 2555 detailing the Employer B's name, address and non-US entity. Should I also include this statement in the attachment Form 2555: "This attachment is provided as the taxpayer has more than one foreign employers"

I have previously done this but just wanted to make sure nothing has changed and it was still okay.

I'm Married, but filing separately as my husband is a Non-Resident Alien.

Thanks again for your time and comments.

That would be acceptable, provided your tax didn't change when you re-arranged things. You do need to attach a statement providing all the information requested on the form 2555, such as the employer's name and foreign address however.

E Filing : Multiple Forms 2555

@ThomasM125  Hi, Thanks for your reply.

I attached a statement to form 2555 stating my additional employer details last year but I just wanted to check I could do the same this year.

I did want to clarify what you meant by  "re-arrange" things? My tax is the same as it was last year, is this what you mean?

Thanks in advance.

By rearrange, I just meant abandoning the multiple form 2555's in favor of combining them on one form.

Since you filed it with the statement last year and the IRS did not make an issue of it, you will be OK doing it the same way this year.
