E-Filed federal tax return timely.  Filing was accepted per TurboTax.  Received notice today 12/26/19 that IRS has not received tax return.  Now have to send them paper copy late!!!!  What happend to my return?

What does the notice say EXACTLY?  Does it say the IRS did not receive your tax return or that you did not PAY your tax due?  Those are two separate issues.  Do you have have bank or credit card records to show that you paid your tax due?
