Got an Error Code IND-031-041:
"The primary taxpayer's AGI from last year does not match IRS record."
I use the exact AGI from my 2020 tax return. Tried 3 times, but it still did not accept my e-File.

Your 2020 AGI may not be in the IRS database.
Try entering a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI and e-file the 2021 return again.
if zero doesn't work, you'll have to file by mail. this issue has been occurring for years, taxpayers enter the correct AGI from prior years (per return if processed in a timely manner or zero if filed late or the IRS delayed processing) and still get rejected. as of this date, some 2020 returns have not been processed by the iRS.
Thank you!
“0” did not work, however, a decimal point after “0” is required to make it work.
That means “0.” solved the problem.
