E file of my tax return sent to wrong bank

I sent my bank information to turbotax for efile of federal and state refunds.  I checked twice the bank information provided and my state return was credited.  My federal return was sent to a a Green Bank which i never heard of.  I called the IRS and they sent the payment to some bank i do not have.  The IRS said it was your problem and they cant ask for the money back.  I will call the better business bureau and may never use turbotax again.  this is ludicrous and expect some satisfaction

If you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your Federal refund, than yes, your refund first goes to the bank (Green Dot) that handles the transaction.  They will deduct your TurboTax fees from your Federal refund and then send to your bank the remaining refund.

When you sign up for Pay With My Refund, your refund will be handled through the Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (SBTPG, formerly SBBT).

You can go to the Santa Barbara Tax Products Group website if you need assistance with your refund.
