Duplicate 1099-Rs

Turbo Tax says my two 1099-R documents are duplicates, but I moved from Maryland to Texas in June and so was issued two separate 1099-R documents, one for each State.  There are differences between these two 1099-Rs in: block 4 (FITW amount), block 14 (State tax withheld; an amount on one and $0 for TX), and block 15 (State/Payer's state no.).  Otherwise, the information on both documents is the same.  How can I get Turbo Tax to accept both of these 1099-R documents?  Building upon at a suggestion from a similar Turbo Tax Community post (at https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/retirement/discussion/my-fed-return-was-just-rejected-along-with-m...), should combine the amounts from both 1099-Rs onto one 1099-R type in the information?  Will this flag an audit of my tax return?

Duplicate 1099-Rs

Yes, you can combine the amounts from both 1099-R's into one in TurboTax since the payments are from the same company.  Just be sure to enter the state information for both MD & TX on the 1099-R input screen.

As long as the correct amounts are reported on your tax return, this will not flag an audit for your return.

Duplicate 1099-Rs

Awesome!  Thank you.  I combined the amounts from the two (supposed duplicate) 1099-Rs and recorded the (combined) amounts into Turbo Tax - as if it was all on one 1099-R.   FYSA, Turbo Tax would not let me select "Texas" (as a state), because Texas does not collect state income taxes.  So I just reported the state as Maryland.
