Due to a flaw with the online TurboTax program I could not efile. I chatted with the rep who told me to download the desktop program. I did that and it wont work

it says that it cannot connect to the turbotax update site.

I think turbo tax needs another competitor - because their software and website is so poorly designed it makes it easy for someone to step in with a better product

e-file what year? 2022 is not open yet and 2021 and prior are closed.

@cliffroberts25 This thread has had no activity since late 2020, so we are not sure if you are having a current problem or if you just want to make an "editorial comment" regarding TurboTax.

If you are dissatisfied with TurboTax maybe when the IRS Free File site opens in January you can try that.
