Download problems

I purchased Turbotax in January and tried to install it using the license code.  The ID and password worked, but the download did not install.  It turned out that that my Mac program was out of date.  I puchased a new Mac from the Apple store and tried to use the Turbox program on the new computer, but was unable to open it since the program was unable to download on my old Mac.

I tried to re-install the the Turbotax on my new Mac and it siad that the License code was already in use.  Since the progarm was never installed on my old Mac, it was not transferred to the new Mac and I am no longer able to load the License on the new Mac.  Do I take the Turbotax back to the store and see if they give me a new License code or is Turbotax able to help?
