My wife and I have separate accounts at Fidelity. I have downloaded tax information from one account. When attempting to download from the other account I am not able to enter information for the second account. TTax immediately uses the first account information and downloads that account's information again. There should be a way to provide the second account login information.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
You need your financial data so you can report the information on your income tax return(s).
I don't really know if it works,,,but
A couple of other folks indicated they could download from the second account if they:
1) Shut down/logged off their TurboTax.
2) Shut down all open browsers entirely.
3) re-opened the browser and TurboTax, and tried again.
_________
BUT, it is critical that you closely check exactly what was imported the first time.......the second import might just overwrite the first...don't know for sure. IF it does overwrite, then the only way to enter the other one would be to enter the data manually from your Consolidated 1099-B paperwork.
Perfect. Clearing the cache has allowed me to download the second account. Thank you!!
Clearing the cache and cookies worked for me. Stinks that TurboTax could not handle this without having to search for a solution, but the solution offered here worked. Thanks!!!
