As someone filing jointly with my wife and taking standard deductions, would I get additional tax rebates if I made donations to Goodwill and have a receipt handy?

No, if you are using the Standard Deduction.

 

Donations to Goodwill are charitable contributions, which can only be claimed as an itemized deduction.
