Does turbotax update if I fixed my return

What do you mean by "fixed my return?" Did you already e-file? You cannot make changes to your return after you e-file or you will just mess it up. Please explain what you did.

It gave me a notification to fix it and I did does it update the change in refund

If your return was rejected and you followed the instructions to correct the issue and proceeded to electronically file your return again, then yes, the refund on the return that was electronically filed after fixing the error is updated. The original return was never filed since it was rejected and therefore, never transmitted to the IRS.
