Not on your federal tax return. This question is asked to determine any personal property losses you may have incurred. Also, if you live in a federally declared disaster area, you may qualify for an extension to file your return.

As far as missing work, you may qualify for FEMA's Disaster Unemployment Assistance.

I need to file my taxes for 2023 or last year's taxes. I live in South Carolina and was affected by the hurricane. Is there any way for me to still file?
