No.   At least not for tax purposes at the age of 3.   Sorry.   There is not a tax credit or deduction to gain by saying your 3 year old is disabled.   If he is over 12 and you still have to pay someone to take care of him while you work then you would be able to get the childcare credit.   Or past the age of 19 you might still be able to claim him as a qualifying child.   Your state laws might be different.

Indicating a child under the age of 19 is disabled will have no affect on your tax return as you can still claim the child under the Qualifying Child rules.

 

IRS definition -

Permanently and totally disabled. A person is permanently and totally disabled if, at any time in 2021, the person can't engage in any substantial gainful activity because of a physical or mental condition and a doctor has determined that this condition has lasted or can be expected to last continuously for at least a year or can be expected to lead to death
